That's for starters.

Too many artists/tunes to list. I'm a fickle station-switcher as well as one who will play the same song over&over&over if I like it. I dislike music that is no more than assembled dissonant screaming/cacophony.

One Hundred Years of Solitude; the Caesar series by McCullough, Lee Child's Jack Reacher series; Koontz & King (scare me!) etc., etc. I try to read every day, so, too many to list. Still haven't finished reading Plato's (friggin'!) Republic but I carry it everywhere hoping someday I will.

Shoes (oh yes, in every color if I like 'em and yes, I need them - go buy another toolbox or gizmo or something - LOL!). Music with appeal not limited to genre. Manicures & Pedicures. Cafe Pepe's; Anna Maria's; Pass-a-Grille. These are a few constants that give me a rush; the rest are fluid.

Bad breath, bad teeth, bad hair, bad hygiene. Xenophobia. Ignorance. Boredom. Dishonesty. Faithlessness and Proselytizers (this is not an oxymoron). Discourtesy. Whiny Babies. Arrogant people with no cause to be so. I do not suffer fools, whiners, lazy people, closed-minded rednecks (do NOT confuse Salt-of-the-Earth Country Folks with Ignorant-And-Don't-Want-to-Know-More Rednecks; there IS a VAST difference), people who feel they are "entitled", holy rollers, extremists, people that can't live and let live.

I just changed my life in a major way. I've realized that while we will always (as Dylan says) have to "serve somebody" I could find parameters that worked for me (I've decided to serve as few people as possible). That doesn't make me selfish or less amiable, just less subservient (which isn't a natural state for a bossy, know-it-all, bee-yotch, LOL!!). I like to laugh, like good communication, be it "live" conversation, IM's, email, snail mail, phone, whatever. Be Yourself. I certainly am ME nowadays.
