The 9th Annual National Day of Prayer for Truckers will be conducted in conjunction with the Mid-America Trucking Show on March 27, 2008 in Room B104 of the South Wing Building of the Exposition Center in Louisville, KY at 9:00AM EST.
Chaplain Joe Hunter, President and Founder of TruckStop Ministries, Inc, who broadcasts the daily devotional on the Dave Nemo Open Road Radio Show on XM Channel 171 will lead the prayer. Gary Nassabaum, Regional Director for Transport for Christ International, will be the keynote speaker. Bob Hataway, President of TransAlive USA, will be the Master of Ceremonies.
Jerry and Sharon Benson will present special music. Jerry and Sharon are known across the country for their musical talent and willingness to give of themselves to promote Christ in the trucking industry. Sharon is a frequent winner of the Favorite Female Vocalist of the Year Award
with the Gospel Music Association.
Again this year, the National Day of Prayer will be broadcast and archived for playback for your convenience. You may call 712-432-6060 and use Access Code 275177# to hear the program live. Be sure and press the "#" at the end of the access code. For the best reception, you will need to mute your phone as you listen. Carriers and truckstops will be able to connect to their public address systems and play the program live for their guests and employees.
