So tonight is supposed to be the christmas party for my work at a golf course. A little fancy but not everyone is dressing up. I'm not sure if I'll be going or not. It depends on if my dad gives my mom permission to watch my kids because kids aren't allowed, which I really dislike but i'm not in charge of the party. Wow this year has just flown by! I don’t know where the time went. I hope everyone had a happy and safe Thanksgiving with family and loved ones. Well one major holiday down and two to go. We had a quiet dinner at home, nothing spectacular. We smoked the turkey breast instead of roasting or deep frying the breast. It was good and I didn’t have to wash any pans. As it gets closer to Thanksgiving I am thankful for all I have. My family and friends who have helped me through my trials and troubles. I have come so far I think from where I was last year. I am thankful that I live in a free nation. I thank those serving over seas and here at home. I think about our service members who can't be w/ friends & family during the holidays. This not just Veterans day to me.. it's a day I put my late husband to rest. He served two tours in the Army. He came home a different man than he left..as many have and are to this very day. This is just one day, we should all Pray each day that the Lord keep these young men and girls safe. I lost a brother also, just 18, so age has no boundry. Waz Up everyone! Well things are settling down here a little bit after the horrible scare about Olive’s health a couple of weeks ago. I can go a couple more lifetimes without another one of those! I still get up during the night to check on her and tell her I love her.
