Well it’s been a while since I wrote a blog, I was waiting on someone else to write some interesting blogs to read a few folks did but the rest of the member must be hiding somewhere so I give up. What a Day

Just a fast update. I had my eye surgery this morning, so far so good a little bit blurry eyed still but it's better than it was. It's my hubbies birthday and me being able to see is a gift to him as well as me. Maybe now I can thread the needle on my sewing machine! I'm so glad it's over. I'm raring to get back to work. The garden's growing good, critters are getting along. I Can See Clearly Now

"I can see clearly now, the rain is gone, I can see all obstacles in my way. Gone are the dark clouds that had me blind. It’s gonna be a bright (bright), bright (bright)Sun-Shiny day". We all have heard those words sung by Bob Marley Johnny Nash and other artist. Well I changed rain to cataract.  Mr. Sun was NOT my friend yesterday when I had to go for my post op checkup, whew I could have used some of those dark clouds. Well It's Time

Last week we had so much rain, over 10 inches in less than 12 hours! All of the businesses down-town were flooded. They had about 2 feet of water inside the stores and city hall, including the mayors office. So the little town was really flooded! The water went over the top of the gin mill-dam at the old gin mill. The water had receded some as you can see in this picture.
