Last week we had so much rain, over 10 inches in less than 12 hours! All of the businesses down-town were flooded. They had about 2 feet of water inside the stores and city hall, including the mayors office. So the little town was really flooded! The water went over the top of the gin mill-dam at the old gin mill. The water had receded some as you can see in this picture. Have you watched the shows were people get caught doing stupid, yucky or plain nasty things at work on tape? I love the ones where the insurance company hires someone to follow a claimant to make sure they aren’t faking it. Busted! Those people need to be caught because they aren’t just making a false claim with the insurance company. Nope each false claim cost me and you more money in premiums.
