Usually I get soooo tired of winter because I just hate cold weather, I love it warm out so my kids can play outside and we can all just enjoy time outside. We'd been under either tornado or severe thunderstorm warnings and watches all day. I don't worry about the weather, but my hubby and Olive do. I figure if it's my time to go then at least I'm going rested, so I have no problem sleeping. After another rainy day, no make that a rainy week, I finally managed to get some cow manure in my raised beds between showers and got it tillered with the tractor for my next adventure in advanced produce production. Well I finally went to town today. The news said this morning that there were only four families that had to use the shelters last night which is a tribute to everyone that reached out a hand to take a complete stranger in. You never know what kind of town you live in or around until a catastrophe happens. The last one was 10 yrs ago, another Tornado.

Tornadoes are one of those deadly marvels of God and nature that no one can predict. They strike with out any rhyme or reason, totally demolishing entire neighborhoods only to leave one house standing  virtually undamaged.

About two hours ago a big tornado hit our little town, our house is fine and so are we. There is massive damage in the center of town actually most areas of town where all the shopping centers, residential neighborhoods, banks and apartment complexes are. Over 11,000 people are without power. There are no injury or fatality reports yet. They are still doing house to house searches for survivors.
