Whom can we trust?

For over three hundred years, we have placed people into office that would fight for our rights, and for the good of the land, for the good of the people, and to the common welfare of all of humanity.

Throughout time, our elected officials have sworn to uphold our Constitution, and embrace the powers of our livelihoods knowing that every decision they make will be within the laws of our Constitution.

How soon must we all be engulfed into the words of today’s politicians to only believe what a fragment of transparency literally comes out of there mouth.

What has happened to the true representatives that swore to uphold the laws that our forefathers had put into place for the people, and when will we finally all stand together and reclaim what is truly ours.

With the race for the White House amongst us let us put away the parties that we have stood beside and sworn our votes, and remember once again what we are voting for.

Think not of the side that claims to be Americas only hope but instead from your heart, the one who will stand by our Constitution and bring this country back to where it truly belongs.

I will leave you with this from Thomas Jefferson.

“Follow truth as the only safe guide, and… eschew error, which bewilders us in one false consequence after another,” – Thomas Jefferson to John Adams, 1819.

Sadely enough, there are a handfull of ppl who would like to vote, but beacuse of misstake in there life, (Felony) there rights are taken away. Anyone who commits a felony no matter how small lose the right to vote for who they want. I myself don't vote for the simple reson that even if we get who we want in the office, They do not live up to what they came to office to do. It has been all talk from every one going into office since the day's of Eisnhouer. JFK, is about the only one who lived up to his being President. I think everyone should be entitled to vote, even if there incarserated. There vote should matter to as well as everyones elses.
I agree with everything you said. We just need to find a way to take back our country and give it back to the people.

Very well put...we have an important task ahead of us as the election time approaches us, and it will be here before we all know it.  I hope in some way, some how, the next person we elect will start doing the right thing to help all the people.  I wish at times I was born long ago when our forefathers had to rely on the most important things in life.  Thomas Jefferson was not out of line at all by writing John Adams so long ago, as it still holds truth to this day.
Thanks for sharing with us...Semper fi, Bob
