Well hello from the newest dessert state of Alabama. The past three years we've been under drought conditions for sometime now and needed rain in any form desperately! We've been getting some rain finally, maybe that rain dance I did in front of the bathroom stall at Wal-Marts did some good after all!
I got so excited yesterday because it was cold and started raining and what did I see? Sleet yea buddy, bring it on! I'm thinking, please
"Lord bring me some snow!" We haven't had any snow here since 2001 and I'd just like to have some. Yes, I know it makes trucking harder through our state and most places shut down because they can't drive in it, but I want snow! Why, I don't know because it's pretty, I want to see how Olive reacts to it and mostly because my hubby has been wishing for it for a couple of years. I started to take that spray snow and put it on his car but didn't because "you- know who" would have to clean it off and it's too cold to be washing cars.
Thankfully the upgrades are DONE for a little while and the chat rooms that everyone wanted back are back, just click the Chat-rooms link in the top page that's next to the Live Chat link and viola there they are! It took a while to get them back because of some security issues that program had but it's fixed and frankly I am so glad. I hate the other chat rooms as much as everyone else. I'm still working on the instant messenger program, it's a whole 'nother issue and takes longer to get modified to show a buddy list.
I'm still doing the Physical Therapy thing and frankly I am tired of that too. I don't see any major improvements and I could do that stuff here at home. They are working on my elbow and I for-see surgery on that in the near future but I am past ready for it to be fixed. It's hard getting older, seems that things are breaking down more and are harder to fix. Worse than an old two million mile truck and just as expensive. Too bad they don't make replacement parts for people cause I'd order an whole new me.
I met a lady in the store the other day that was 101 years old! She was still driving and living alone as she has outlived her husband and children. Can you imagine the history she has lived through. I love talking to older people they give a personal insight about how things really were years ago. I hope her grand children and great grands appreciate how lucky they are to have her, a living piece of history.
Well I hope everyone stays safe, warm and dry out there and I'll try to do better about writing.
God Bless you all and Happy Trails
