Whew what a week, no wait make that two weeks. We both finally got a break from all the Doctors visits, MRI, CAT Scans, and X-rays. I should be glowing in the dark! We are both going to live and I may not have to have surgery on my right knee for a few months, depends on how it does with the draining, which by the way hurts like the dickens! Enough on that stuff!
Thanks to everyone for the get well wishes, it means a lot to me and I know I haven’t made it to everyone’s page to say thanks in person, I will I’m just S L O W.
My hubby is doing better, but not himself. Thank fully the headache he’s had for over a month now has all but disappeared unless he bends over or does something that aggravates it. Thank the Lord for that. Men are too grumpy when they don’t feel good. I’ve always said that if they had to have the second baby there’d only be two!
Spring is here! Flowers are blooming, trees have leaves, and I had to cut the grass already. Why we have to have a big yard is beyond me but we do. Takes a whole day on the tractor to cut it all. I just hope that we don’t have the horrible heat that we have had the last three years. I’ve decided if we do I am moving to Alaska or Antarctica or some place really cold. The drought has been horrible here and we’ve just now gotten out of the most severe stage we could be in because of the rains we finally got. Speaking of rain I hope that the folks in those flood areas are safe and sound, I’ve been following those situations on the news. It looks horrible! I’ll be praying for you all.
I got this bright idea to paint the laundry room, and the ceilings in the kitchen, living room, and dinning room. Yup, me the one that hates paint and has to buy one gallon for what ever I am painting and one for me to wear. It’s a given that I am going to get it all over me and anything else that’s not covered. Of course, my hubby the guy, that has to do everything perfect made me cover all the walls and floors with plastic which I really didn’t like that idea but I did it to keep the piece. Well he was right, OMG did I say that, don’t tell him please, he’ll never let me hear the end of it. He supervised. It took me 4 days to paint our tiny laundry room cause I have to stop so much to rest, but it looks GREAT I might even make curtains for it now.
