Well, after 3 weeks on the road we are home for rest and relaxation. I'm not complaining. Just the opposite. The load planners and our DSR have been great along with the Refer General Manager. Teams get an extra quarterly bonus come to find out. It's $.15 a mile for anything over 48,000 ran in that quarter. I added up our miles and we ran over 58000 miles. We are still happy with the company despite the occassional gripes but hey that happens with any company and in any job no matter what the industry it's in. So now it's propping up feet time and unwiine. I'm certainly glad to see the snow slowly disappear. I'm sure everyone is tired of the white stuff.
On a totally different topic, I just want parents who have concert attending aged children to be careful on which concerts the kids attend. My 22 year old daughter just attended a concert in Ohio and apparently there was a "mash pit"(not sure if that's what it's called) She wasn't participating in it but the crowd started pushing and shoving in all directions she apparently had a panic attack and passed out and fell. Now she has bruised ribs and maybe a hairline fracture. Apparently people were stepping on her. Her boyfriend pulled her out as fast as he could but it wasn't fast enough. I am truely thankful she wasn't more seriously hurt.
