In 1967 my uncle sent me to a little out of way vacation site in the north Atlantic.
It was a time when Vietnam was going on. However there was a lot of other things going on also in the world. The French ran the US out of their country. We were soon to be fighting in Cambodia or were we? There is always things going on! Most of the time the average civilian population will not ever hear about these sorted problems. They will not ever hear of how close they have been to the end of it all.
In 1967 there was Vietnam but there was also jet fighters in close proximity of the Russian TU 95s {Bear}. Both aircraft was fully loaded with weapons some with "nukes". It was just a "game" but with "nukes" and all the rockets one could wont. The night air would light up with the "birds" launching from the alert barn to meet the night intruders-- the TU95s. The game is on even today! It is there in the news but one has to look to see it all. Some will never see it even if they read it.
If you have in your home 15 -16 year old boy children hug them close for they will pay for this change! I should add that today the young women are in the thick of it just like the young men.
"Change" Nothing is new ! All that will change will be the faces. The game is always on! Yes, I have seen this all before!--
