For any of you drivers that have run on the west coast at all, most of you have probably been to Mollies truck stop in Klamath Falls, Oregon. It was on Hwy 97 in southern Oregon.
Mollies was kind of a landmark around here. I pulled in there last night to spend my ten hour break and was sadly dissapointed to hear that 2 days earlier they had finally pulled the plug and shut everything down except the fuel islands. Those will probably not last long either unless they7 find a new owner for the place.
Mollies was one of the few truck stops where they pumped your fuel and washed the windows for you. It is really sad to see it go by the wayside. She will truly be missed by many of us "old timers".
