Rain Rain GO AWAY like to Texas!
Posted On 09/20/2009 19:20:11 by NightWind

Well I complained most of the summer about the lack of rain now we're getting it. That'll teach me to fuss about the weather. We're headed into our THIRD WEEK of rain every day. Last week we had over 6 inches in 7 days. I keep looking at my feet to see if I'm growing webs in between my toes LOL. I'm thankful we live on a big hill cause there are areas that are flooding because of all the rain. I've stopped wearing shoes out side and just wear flip flops because all my shoes were wet in one day. It's been busy here.

We FINALLY got a new TV thank the Lord that's over with. It only took a month to decide on the one we wanted. I've noticed that Sears has had some great prices on TV's. In fact they had a lower price than any one else on the one we bought but that was AFTER we bought it but Best Buy gave me the difference in cash so I was a happy camper, yup the tax too. I FINALLY managed to get some pictures of the kitten that we rescued. He's a cutie, Mom says she doubts that I give him away cause he's been here too long. I haven't named him but she has, Little One is what she calls him. He thinks he can type or I need help doing it since he's been walking on my keyboard the past hour. He is funny!

I hope everyone is being safe out there with all the nutty weather and bad fires the nation has had recently. I was telling a friend the other day that I though God was warning us to straighten up because we weren't doing things the right way which is something I firmly believe.

I stayed up til 3:00am watching a show about the Beatles, I was too young to really know much about them and it was an interesting show. I didn't know they had more than the one movie Yellow Submarine but they did. Frankly I can't see how ANYONE could watch them  cause they weren't that good when I saw them but I guess back then they were HIGH TECH for that age.

We're picking the last crop of corn next week IF the winds don't finish blowing it all down. Jobs are still hard to find unless you want to go on the road which I don't plan on doing but who knows what's going to happen. Have a great week and take care.

Need to get back on here ans see who is still around. Glad that you are.
