As it gets closer to Thanksgiving I am thankful for all I have. My family and friends who have helped me through my trials and troubles. I have come so far I think from where I was last year.
I am thankful that I live in a free nation. I thank those serving over seas and here at home. I think about our service members who can't be w/ friends & family during the holidays.
Thanksgiving is a little hard for me but I make it through just fine. November 29, 1991 my 7-year old cousin was killed in a car wreck. I think about him even more around this time. I keep his picture that I've had for years in the same old frame. It's hung on my wall in the hallway where I can see him all the time. I also think about other friends & family members that God has called on home. It's sad that they aren't here w/ us but they had a more important job in Heaven and I will see them again someday. I know that they are all my guardian angels watching over me. I am thankful for lots more but that blog could go on forever so I thought i'd just say what's on my heart tonight.
My children are ready for a break too. Tonight since my tv decided to fry we went to my parents house to watch the football game which did not go so swell. As we headed home Ana said, but it's Thanksgiving. I want to go to Amber & Scott's & Grandma Bev's. *My sister, her husband & his mom*....they love being around our family & extended family as well that welcomes us in their home anytime.
I just hope everyone here is going to have a wonderful holiday.
