So tonight is supposed to be the christmas party for my work at a golf course. A little fancy but not everyone is dressing up. I'm not sure if I'll be going or not. It depends on if my dad gives my mom permission to watch my kids because kids aren't allowed, which I really dislike but i'm not in charge of the party. I need some time to myself to get out & have some fun w/ friends. I guess that's part of why i'm single..I understand having to let your spouse know of plans you may be making, but asking permission is another thing. You're still an adult, not a child! I have made some excellent friends at work that have become another family to me. They have helped me out even when I haven't asked, they just knew somehow and I hope someday to repay them.
So, anyone here know how to read a man's mind? LoL If you do let me know! HaHa Because I decided to get back on that horse and try to date some. Nothing serious, not ready for that, just having fun as friends first. I met this really really good looking man, good job, divorced dad. We went to dinner and I assumed things were great. We talked & laughed...never missed a beat, no akward silence ever. Now nothing since that date so I just really don't understand. I'm fine & all, not ready to settle down myself, but atleast a phone call. Men are just plain weird!!!
So who has christmas shopping done?? I am just about there! I'm so excited, not that it's all about presents. I'm more excited to have time off of work and be around family. I bought a small 4 ft. tree lol I should have gone w/ the 6 footer. It's fake so I can have it for next year. Nothing fancy, just prelit and the shatterproof ornaments were cheaper than I've ever seen them so i'm excited and a little led star to go on top. It's smaller than I realized it would be so I put it on top of one of my end tables here in the living room. I'll post a pic as soon as I get it all completed & a few presents wrapped. I do love the time of year watching christmas movies. I don't know why, I just always have. Who else here likes those movies, whether they're the cartoon ones that or the newer ones?
