       We called Indianapolis "Circle City" .  Cincinatti was the "Queen City" too. Charlotte was the "Queen City of the South".

      Atlanta? Yeah, every driver knows it's "Hotlanta" or "Big A". 

      Nashville was "Music City", back in the day.

      I remember Nashville as simply "The Guitar" back in the 80s and up to the early 90s.

       

      also, I just took the dragon's quiz on this.  I had never heard of San Fran being referred to as "Bar City".  Always been "The Gay Bay" as long as I remember.

      We call Orlando Fla. the Mouse's House and St. Petersburg is called wrinkle city, lol.  San Antonio, Texas was the Alamo.  Ft Worth was called Cow Town. Denver is the Mile High, and Akron, Ohio was known as Rubber City. Pittsburg was the Steel City. Just about any place in the NE was just called the dirty side. Arizona was called the sticker patch.
