Tom at the Great American Truck-shop is a top notch mechanic that understands how hard it is to be a small business because he is one. He has a one man shop that his teenage boys help out with when he can drag them away from the ladies, yup they're at that age.

There isn't anything Tom can't do and he does it all just like it's HIS piece of equipment. Every thing from total engine-tranny rebuilds to a truck wash this is a one stop shop.
No cutting corners at this shop, your safety is something he takes very seriously. He stands behind his work. Be sure to ask him about warranty on your repairs.
I've known Tom for over 25 years and he does ALL the work that I can't do.
Understandably he doesn't do any financing as he is a small business and depends on his cash flow to keep the parts in stock and the doors open. He takes all trucker checks EFS, Com Check, T Check etc as well as  credit cards and of course good old cash.
He's located on US 31 S at the intersection of US 31 and highway 6 off of exit 179 on I-65 south.
Going south take a right go to highway 6 turn left, there's a Lowe's at that light follow that to US 31 about  2 or so miles look to the left and you'll see his shop. Go a truck length past the shop and turn in the gate behind the restaurant located next door to him. You can even take a nap there at night while you're waiting on him to get there at 8:00 am. He's open from 8-5 or when he gets done M-F 8- noon on Sat and closed Sunday to go to church.
