Hello, my name is Terry.

With my wife Helen, I travel the most magnificent land in the world as a professional driver. As truckers we see more in a week than most will ever see. We have executive box seats to the greatest show on earth; the American way.  It’s the only show for us, we just can’t get enough of it.

We have spoken to friends, argued with family and other loved ones. We have made our case to any that will listen to us. Now the time draws near and it is time for our beliefs to come into play.

We will believe in our in our chosen leaders and in the inherent compassion and intelligence of the American people. In the end, when the curtain closes behind them, the judgment that makes us who we are will guide their decisions.

For Helen and I, it is a simple time now.

We choose experience and honor, compassion and vision.

We demanded “change” that we understand, that has been defined to us, “change” that makes sense and is not buried in empty words and flowery, eloquent  speeches. “Change” that does not lead us down a path of historically failed ideas. We can not and will NOT tolerate Marxism, Socialism and in the end, the inevitable Communism. I trained to fight it as a young soldier in the service of my country and with purpose and resolve, I trained others.

I REJECT it today and regardless of what happens on the 4th, I will continue to reject it.

Yes, even at the peril of my own life.

We choose to stand up for freedom and democracy. Not only for ourselves and our children, not only for their children, but for our entire world.

We stand by our conservative values, our belief that hard work and diligence is the answer, not the problem.

We choose honesty and character over charisma and Greek temples, strait talk and sound ideas over lies and hidden friends.

We believe in the constitution, not some idiot’s belief that the founders had it all wrong.

We are unimpressed and even a bit indignant that the rest of the world would have a preference as to our next President, realizing that among them, our enemies and our false “friends” would prefer someone they can “test”.

I’ve already had my say, my absentee ballot is cast, as is is Helen’s. No matter what happens from this point on, we can and will, quite proudly say:

Yes, we voted for a stronger America, a safer America.

We voted for a better life.

We voted John McCain.

God Bless America.
