OK folks it’s time to poop or get of the pot. The time for passiveness and lack of participation is over and it’s time to speak out. Once again they are looking at the current hours of service. Personally I don’t like any of them except the 34 hour reset other than that I don’t think we should have to work 60-70 hours a week just to barely make ends meet unless we’re going to get overtime like most other people are paid. I’ve been pretty vocal on here and else where about how I feel. We should be paid by the hour, come under the auspices of the wage and hour laws. Being paid by the hour would eliminate the need to speed drive tired or alter log books. We wouldn’t care if we were at the loading docks for 15 hours because we’d be getting paid for it instead of figuring out how we’re going to pay the mortgage payment this month. So here's your chance to throw your two cents worth in.
