I am the founder and now President of a truck drivers memorial called Lights on the Hill Trucking Memorial inc. The actual wall is called Lights on the Hill Truck/Coach Drivers Memorial, it is situated at Lake Apex Park Gatton, Queensland Australia.
This wall, I built for people to remember the truck drivers who work very hard to keep our countries supplied with our every day needs, sadly some get killed, there is a place on the wall for the drivers who die in an accident, also for drivers who have died by other means.
I hold two events every year, one is the memorial day where the names are placed on the wall in October, the second is a memorial convoy, this is the time for the drivers to get together and remember their mates no longer with them.
