There was no shutdown or strike in my eyes. It was just another day and some drivers managed to get a HOS reset out of it. There was NO plan to accomplish anything other than to let everyone know that they are upset and broke because of the cost of fuel. I was told by my surgeon that more than likely I will be able to get back in the truck by June....but, is it worth it? Not only do I talk with my fellow drivers almost every day, but I see the fuel slips that my husband brings home. We've always tried to fill up in Ohio because it's always been cheaper than NY or PA..but c'mon...190 gallons (which didn't even fill the tanks) was $751.00!!!
