I've been driving since 1993, Straight trucks, from 12 foot to 26 feet, big rigs, vans moving, refer,and my flat I enjoy so much.... Nothing like untarping in twenty below with a stiff breeze on a snowy morning in oh some where like Maine... While it is going on I swear what was I thinking, but then when I am thru I know I have made someone happy to get the stuff off my trailer and made their day... not everyone can or will do that so I am proud of what I do...I have been driving OTR since 2002 and enjoy it but I miss my GF/Wife. The best part is going home to a place you know you are loved and wanted.

Yeah I know how that sitting goes. I think thats about the only thing I dont miss about being over the road. What company do you haul for that has you stuck in KC for 3 days? My family and I had a very good Holiday. Kids where happy with what they got and the wife and I are waiting for tax time to get ours for each other. Do you and yours have a good Holiday? I sure hope that 2009 looks better that 2008. Seems the economy is really going down hill fast. Not to mention that little tease they done with the fuel prices. Sure with diesle would stay at 1.99 a gallon. Would make it easier on the O/O and the companys. Sorry for chatting your ear off. Best of luck getting out of KC and be safe out there.
